Ever since I started teaching skating I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: Instilling a love for learning, inspiring new artists & athletes, and teaching life lessons through skating.

My goal is for each student to attain strong foundations in skating through determination, a strong work ethic, and self-confidence. I see the sport as a beautiful tool in which to teach these invaluable life lessons. I concentrate on the importance of detail, self-awareness, goals, practice, and hard work while having fun! My method of teaching entails engaging the students’ mind by asking questions that encourage them to problem solve. I love to use games and tasks, making learning fun and igniting a love for skating.

Being a versatile educator, I have had the opportunity to instruct a wide spectrum of students. From those participating at the national and international level to those challenged by A.D.H.D and autism. This beautiful experience has taught me to always keep learning as an educator. Striving to always find the best support for each students unique needs and tailoring my teaching to best enable their success!
